Everyone loves a list, from the BRW Rich List to the less prestigious Cleo Bachelor of the Year nominees.  Now it’s Forbes’ turn, publishing what it considers the 100 most powerful women in the world.

From Queen Rania of Jordan (No. 76), with her 600,000 Twitter followers, to Michelle Obama (No. 40) and Oprah Winfrey (No. 41) the list is less about celebrity and all about influence.

Flying the flag for Australia (impressively at No. 18) is Gail Kelly, Chief Executive of Westpac and one of our most powerful businesswomen.
