Sunday 17 January 2010
While you’re sunning yourself on the beach this January working out how you can get your hands on some extra cash in 2010 (as you do), consider making this the year you finally try that one thing you’ve been thinking about for ages. Like writing a romance novel, for example.
If you’re not keen on hitting up your boss for a payrise, try thinking outside the square. What are your secret talents? And could you turn those talents into extra cash? For example, if bodice-rippers are your guilty pleasure why not join the Romance Writers of Australia and pen your first novel for Mills and Boon?
In this week’s article of the week, ninemsn Money’s Allison Tait offers tips for all of the budding romance novelists out there. Be sure to check out the Harlequin Mills & Boon website for author guidelines as well. Hilarious!
