Learning More
A few years ago a Merrill Lynch survey found that 47% of women (compared to 30% of men) reported not being knowledgeable about investing. Yet, according to another Merrill Lynch survey run just a year later, it was found women actually make better investors than men – we make far fewer investment mistakes, less often. It seems our potential is there, just not our confidence. There’s absolutely no reason why you can’t invest in property, shares, super – whatever floats your boat. You just need to learn how. Start by reading books or articles in the paper, or join an investment group. You’ll be surprised at how easy it is to get smart with your money.
